Hi, my name is Dean I am a Senior Team Leader for Horizon parking I work with my Regional Manager and my Deputy Regional manager in an operations role.
Coming from 7 years of parking experience I came to Horizon because there was better career prospects and progression compared to what I was being offered in my pervious role.
My first week of induction was intense, there was a lot of paperwork to be completed and a lot of information to process for my role. I spent a couple of days with some head office staff, It was nice to sit down with them and understand their roles and how they can support me. This has been nice for when I need help or assistance and I can phone them up they know who I am and can help me easily.
I have also done other training along the way including being nominated to carry out the MAYBO conflict training which was a very good experience for me, it gave me a qualification which enabled me to deliver conflict training to my colleagues. I found it to be a very good experience and enjoyed it thoroughly. I am looking forward to the future progression of my career with Horizon.
