Horizon Parking have worked with Pizza Express to help free up spaces for their customers.
Problem
Customers traditionally found it difficult to park in the five dedicated parking spaces in front of one of their restaurants as these spaces were regularly misused by visitors to the high street looking to avoid the charges operating in the local off-street car park.
Solution
Horizon Parking have provided Pizza Express with a free self funding self ticketing management solution which enabled Pizza Express to retain full control of their parking spaces.
The restaurant now issues their customers with a permit to display within their vehicle when they park within one of their dedicated spaces.
The team working within the restaurant make regular checks on these bays and issue parking charge notices to vehicles not displaying a permit. This is further supported by a team of mobile parking attendants which also undertake regular checks on these bays when they are in the area.
Results and benefits
This solution has made it much easier for customers of the Pizza Express to park directly outside of the restaurant.
